The security code doesn't seem to be working properly and few other minor clitches or so I would say. Will somebody take a look at my user-info block on my site @ http://theplatoon.org/main/index.php.

I am very new to all this but learning little by little thanks to you guys. :D

All I can do is give you a little heads up. We can't help you with a fix because we don't know what code or other changes you made.

Now for the heads up. Blank pages are generally caused by problems with the database. Not always but generally. Perhaps you have a misnamed variable, or improperly coded variable. Beyond that, there's not much help we can offer.

Talking about an already resolved bug to get your comments..

Ok, like I said in my previous post, I made some minor modifications in the users table to add personnals infos on the user like his first name, last name, adresse, postalcode, country. I also added some code in the index.php of the Your_account module to manage these new fields. All these change where working perfectly when I made the change.

I don't think it is related to these changes, but some weeks later I had a bug on my website where, when a user tried to login, he got a blank page after pressing the login button...

I browsed a lot in the code to find if it was my changes that were at the origin of this bug in spite of my changes were fully working at the time I made them.

So after a lot of test, I found that when the input $user_password (from index.php ak Your_account around line 660) was not specified, the module was working realtively properly in spite of it was not more possible to login...

So I changed the variable name of $user_password to $user_pd and everything is working fine now. My members (and me) are now able to login. I also had to made change into my block_user_info to match the variable to $user_pd.

So for me it is very strange that all of a sudden, the code stopped working about a variable name, and that everything restarted to work by only changing the name of this variable in the code...

I tough that maybe "password" was now a reserved word and that my webspace provider has updated their webservice software, but it still seem strange to me...

Anybody has another idea of what happened or maybe the exact answer to this mistake?

Thank for those who will try to give me some light!

Salutations, Olivier
